Greetings!
The 72nd Annual Hesper-Mabel Steam Engine Days will be celebrated on September 7th and 8th, 2024 in Mabel, MN. We are hoping to get back to the original way of things and have our 2 great parades, on SATURDAY and SUNDAY. Both days the parade will start immediately following the Tractor Parade. The Steam Engines parade down Main Street at 12:00 NOON and the Tractor Parade starts at 12:15 from the Steam Engine Grounds. We mention this because the actual start time of the Grand Parade varies from year to year.
The Hesper-Mabel Steam Engine Days Parade Committee cordially invites you to participate in either parade or BOTH, if possible.
PARADE ENTRY – Submit no later than August 20, 2024:

Instructions regarding your parade number, line-up time and area, and dispersal area will be sent out to those who intend to participate after August 29, 2024. If your entry is received after this date, you will just be added to the end of the line-up. If you should have any questions or special requests, please feel free to contact the parade committee listed below.
We will not be judging parade entries.

Thursday, September 5th
The Parade of Tractors from Hesper to Mabel starts in Hesper at 6pm
Saturday, September 7th
Main Street Parade of Steam Engines and Tractors starts at 12 noon followed by the Festival Parade right after.
Sunday, September 8th
Main Street Parade of Steam Engines and Tractors starts at 12 noon followed by the Festival Parade right after.
